Nikki

Nikkie

Nikki is a female Great Pyrenees that just turned four years old. When she came into rescue we noticed a limp on her right hind leg. After a trip to the vet, it was decided that Nikki needed orthopedic surgery to repair a ruptured cruciate ligament. These are difficult surgeries; very painful with long recovery periods. Rescue has repaired many GP’s with injuries to the knees and they are costly repairs but, necessary to the quality of life without pain for the dog(s).

We need help! Nikki’s surgery will cost us a reduced rate of $1400.00 (typically they are $2800.00) and we need help raising this money. Rescue has been hit very hard with dogs needing extensive medical care along with other surgeries and the well is dry. Last year we placed over 118 dogs…a banner year for us. But, doing that costs a lot of money.

Nikki came into rescue after her owner could no longer care for her because she is losing her battle with stage four breast and brain cancer. Nikki was all she had left. There are many stories like this one, but Nikki is a wonderful girl and deserves a good and healthy life! Won’t you help us, help her? Just go to www.SPGPC.com and hit the "donate" button. Nikki will be greatful and we thank you in advance for your support.
