Fun Match Event Participants  Hey everyone, it’s that time of year again!

Post-Even Update:

Hi folks,

The club took in about $4800-$5000 gross on the fun match which means that we netted nearly $3600-$3800.  That will help a lot of dogs.

I can’t THANK enough, all of the folks who came and helped with the match.  We had several of our Pyrs (from rescue and from members) who came with their Pyrs and actually showed many of them.  It was really heart warming for me to see all of the big white snow drifts going around the ring.  One even came in a summer haircut (a bad one) sporting a muscle shirt.  Hopefully, the next trip to the groomer will be to a better one (ha-ha).

The weather could have been better and although there was a 4 day point all breed dog show going on in Vallejo, CA on the same weekend, it didn’t hurt us any.  Our obedience entries were up and the loss of whatever conformation entries, had balanced themselves out.  Tanna did (with the help of Nicole) just a stellar job with the raffles again this year!  She is a miracle at work for rescue, to be sure!

We had more help this year than ever.  I’ve never seen the match set up so quickly and by so many hands.  Thank you to everyone who helped to make us look so professional and such a huge success.  You all deserve a pat on the back and your service has not gone un-noticed or unappreciated!  Thank you just doesn’t seem to be adequate in expressing my gratitude.  With the help of the proceeds of this match, it will have save many dogs that come into the program.

Pam Tobin, Rescue Chair

THANKS AGAIN!
